Cheviot Sheep
Registered Breeder
The Cheviot originated in the Cheviot Hills, on the border of England and Scotland. Recognized as a hardy sheep as early as 1372, Cheviots did well in those bleak, windswept conditions, with their strong constitution, easy lambing, well developed mothering instinct, and fast maturity.

GeneRose Farms is a registered breeder with the American Cheviot Sheep Society and the American Miniature Cheviots Breeder Association (AMCSBA). Contact us for more information regarding wool purchases and our lambing schedule.

GeneRose Farms is the perfect destination for all your farming needs. Starting June 2023 we are offering Scottish Highland Cows. These are the cutest cows and perfect for events, photo shoots, farm shows, and more as they are small, easy to transport, and docile. We also offer promotional Highland Cow Plushes with a light lavender scent online and in stores!
